can one really be able to be both nerdy and cool at the same time?

I asked myself that question this morning while observing a group of guys who were a mixture of really nerdy looking guys and your typical johnny bravo lookalikes.Then it suddenly hit me,is it possible to have both the nerd and the cool guy in one person?,Certainly not!! is what you are probably thinking to yourself.But why would'nt that be possible,i mean my theory is simple,study all night and read as many books as you can and then buy flashy clothes and be as vain as you can, whilst walking as if you've just had ankle surgery.how hard can that be.See,in order for one to be a nerd,one has to either be a bookworm or be interested in maths and so on,but in order to be "cool" one only has to look the part. So, is there still anyone out there who still thinks that this cannot be done,i think not(if there is, than you're probably one of those people who thought locking yourself in a library and solving for x allday long is cool),just joking,i see your point.I mean looks can be decieving,just because one wears specs and goes around campus carrying heavy books does not necessarily mean that one is a nerd.So in closing,i must say that it is easy for me to vent about this topic because i am neither a nerd or a cool dude and maybe it does bother me a bit that i am neither a genius nor am i cool but then again who cares(oh thats right, i do).
